This whole series of drawings and paintings were made during a 3 month period where I was having a flare up of my chronic illness symptoms. I was quite sick at the time and I am still trying to figure out what is going on but that is another story. For most of this time, I was in bed and I got out of bed mainly to make a painting. The process of creating the paintings was the only thing that motivated me to push through the hard days. 

 

Just because everything in your life is going wrong, does not mean that you can not make something beautiful of it.
