This project started while analyzing one Yoruba (Nigerian Language) proverb that translates to English as "In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king"

 

We all have parts of ourselves that we lock away and expose to a select few. The One Eyed Kings explores what communication could be like if one of your most vulnerable stories was on display for everyone to see.

 

Each photo was inspired by a real person I have met and the picture is a digital representation of their story.
